Around this time each year, some of our patient families call to obtain financial information from their child's account for tax or health savings account (HSA) purposes. For many years we have been able to accommodate these requests as a courtesy to our patient families. Effective January 1, 2023, we will no longer be able to provide this information. We encourage patient families to reach out to our Billing Department no later than December 31, 2022 to request financial information for 2022 tax/HSA purposes. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing of requests.

As of January 1, 2023, families will need to use their individual insurance customer service (via the number on the back of your insurance card or via your insurance website) to obtain copies of Explanation of Benefits (EOB's) for services rendered in our office. Families are encouraged to retain copies of their patient account statements from our office, receipts from copays paid in the office, as well as personal banking records to keep track of amounts spent on healthcare for the 2023 year and forward.
