Important Info for the New Year

As we approach a new year, we would like to thank all of our patient families for the privilege of caring for you this past year, and we look forward to continuing to serve your family in the year to come! Please read on for important information we would like to share for the new year.

  • Many of our families will have a new insurance plan for 2023. To help us make sure your visit claims are sent with accurate policy information, we ask that you bring your most current insurance card with you to your next visit so we may scan it and update the patient record. If you have changed insurance plans, but don't have a card yet, please let our front desk staff know so our billing staff can follow up with you.

  • We are pleased to offer lactation consulting services for the new moms in our practice! Jessica Stokowski is a seasoned pediatric nurse who is also a certified lactation consultant. Nurse Jess loves working with our new moms on any feeding issues they and baby may be facing. If you would like to make an appointment for lactation support, please give us a call! These appointments are for Mom and Baby, so each will have a separate appointment booked and insurance claim submitted. While insurance typically covers lactation services as part of routine well baby care, the visits may be subject to separate copays, deductibles and/or coinsurance. Please check with your insurance carrier for your specific plan coverage.

  • Your feedback is important to us! We want to hear from you what we are doing well and where we can improve. Beginning in January 2023, we will be sending out a survey after visits in the office via JotForm. We would greatly appreciate it if you would take a few moments to complete the survey. If the survey doesn't reach you via text or email, you may access it here.

From all of us at Bloomington Pediatrics, we wish you a safe and healthy 2023!
