Bloomington Pediatrics is pleased to announce the addition of a new provider to our office family! Amanda Wackt, Family Nurse Practitioner will be joining our practice on December 5, 2022.

Amanda was born in Bloomington, IL and is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, graduating with honors from Milikin University in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She completed graduate training in 2014 at Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University with a Master of Science in Nursing.

Amanda's husband was also born and raised in Bloomington. They have 2 children, Caitlyn and Carter, and a dog named Beau. Amanda enjoys spending her free time with family. She also enjoys being outdoors doing activities such as swimming, gardening, bike riding, and hiking. She also loves to travel, especially when there is a beach involved!

What Amanda most enjoys about pediatrics is building lifelong relationships with children and their families and helping children develop healthy lifestyles from a young age.

Amanda will be seeing patients in the office on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for same day ill visits only, for the time being. For continuity of care, and as those relationships are so important, the physicians will continue to see their patients for all well visits and ill visits, as much as possible, when they are in the office. As always, our staff are happy to address any questions or concerns you may have.
