Updated Mask Guidelines

On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, Governor Pritzker announced masks are no longer a state mandated requirement in healthcare facilities unless they are in a high level of Covid-19 transmission community. We thank you for your patience as our providers considered this change and the most recent recommendations from the CDC to determine the best plan for our office. It is always our goal to promote a safe and healthy environment for our patient families, staff and providers. To that end, we have updated our masking guidelines for patients and visitors to the practice.

Masking is now optional for all those entering our building. We strongly encourage patients and visitors to wear a mask if they are exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19 or Influenza, especially if they are running a fever (100.4 or >) or have a cough, as a courtesy to others in the waiting room, as well as our staff and providers.

At this time, we are still asking patient families to text us upon arrival to the office. As we are moving deeper into cold/flu/covid-19 season, we are doing our best to keep the waiting room to a reasonable number of families at a time.

Thank you for your continued cooperation in our efforts to keep our patient families, staff and providers as healthy as possible!

Stay Well,

Bloomington Pediatrics
