Welcome to Bloomington Pediatrics

Meet the Team

Please take a few moments to learn about our healthcare team at Bloomington Pediatrics!

Our Providers

Our doctors are all board-certified pediatricians who trained in high quality, university-based pediatric residency programs. Some of them served as chief residents and some received other advanced training as well. We welcomed a family nurse pracitioner to our practice in December of 2022, who also is board certified. All of our providers work daily to increase their knowledge and improve their skills. These are the people who will provide and direct care for your child.

These individuals are committed to our community as well.  They have all served in a variety of organizations dedicated to making Bloomington-Normal and the surrounding area an even better place to live and work.

All of our providers are parents, and several are grandparents as well. This helps them understand the joys and challenges which their families encounter during the child-rearing experience.

Please take a moment to get to know our providers a little better!

NURSING, LABORATORY AND CLERICAL STAFF

A vital part of our service to children begins with our outstanding staff who work hard to provide and maintain a professional, caring and supportive environment for our patients. Your child's health is as important to us as it is to you. Our highly experienced, committed staff will provide exceptional levels of attention, care, helpful information and advice to your child and you.

Once you enter the building, you will be escorted to an exam room most often by a pediatric nurse or specially trained medical assistant who will help you get ready for your appointment and answer any questions that you may have. After being seen by one of our pediatricians, a nurse will return to administer any medications or vaccines which your child needs. Teaching and instruction by the nurses will be part of many visits as well. For our new moms, we offer on site services from our very own lactation consultant.

When you call during office hours, you will be served again by pediatric nurses right in our office who receive your calls directly--no need to leave messages and wait a long time for a call back. Office laboratory studies ordered by the physician will be obtained by our certified medical technologist, our experienced pediatric medical assistant or one of our nurses.

Upon leaving the office you will be able to have the referral specialist efficiently schedule any out-of-office procedures or appointments with other doctors which have been recommended by your physician. The receptionists will then be happy to help you finish up any check-out matters that remain.
